A Short Girl's Quest for Height

I'm 5 ft 4, and while I refuse to think I'm short.. let's face it. I'm not exactly tall. That's why I never miss the chance to wear a high heel. Sometimes the feminist in me kicks in and I find myself opting for sneakers, but high heels have a special place in my heart. If Louis XIV could wear custom 100mm kicks, I certainly can. Every day. For the rest of my life. I don't care. (Uhm..ok. As long as they're comfortable)

These Charlotte Olympia Melody wedge sandals are 6.5 inch tall. And believe it or not, they're the most comfortable you can ever wear. The secret is in the platform. (They're certainly not for those who have acrophobia though.)

Another beautiful shoe from Charlotte Olympia is the Priscilla Striped Suede Platform pump. *sigh* Look at those colors!  High heel.. check. Beautiful colors.. check. Can wear them with practically anything.. definitely!
They're a bit expensive though ($1,095) but totally worth, no?

I bought these Isabel Marant sandals a while ago but didn't get the chance to wear them until about 2 days ago. I LOVE them. They're one of my favorites now. I wore them with denim cutoffs, but I can think of a million other ways to wear them. And I didn't mind walking in them all day.

Wedge sneakers are pretty much everywhere these days. I love these See by Chloe ankle boots. It has a half inch platform. So you get to be a bit taller, and no everyone will notice ;)
Sadly, they're sold out in my size but they're certainly on my wishlist.

It looks like the neon trend is here to stay. Those Brian Atwood Maniac neon patent-leather pumps are the cutest (they also come in black and nude)

As some of you know, lace makes my heart skip a beat. I can keep staring at this pair forever. Lace AND high heels. How can you not fall in love?
This Valentino satin and crystal lace pumps are perfect for a night out. Wear it with a knee-length dress and a nice clutch and you'll definitely shine.

For those on a tight budget, this lovely pair from Zara is wallet-friendly. Unfortunately by the time I went to the store I couldn't find size 37. It was only available in size 39 :/
