New in: Dr Martens

These beautiful boots just came in the other day.
For a while I couldn't decide which color to buy; black or dark red. I finally got the black one (maybe I'll get the red one as well?)

I can't wait to show you all the outfits I'll be wearing with these shoes. In the meantime, here are some looks for inspiration.

PS: Thanks for all the likes on Facebook. You made my wish come true; 1000 likes before the year ends :)
This calls for a giveaway soon!

Dina Maghawry Jewelry

The talented Dina Maghawry

If you're walking along Hassan Assem Street in Zamalek, a small canopy with the name 'Dina Maghawry' is bound to catch your eye. The shop has an exquisite Mediterranean feel to it, with beautiful tiled floors, and old vintage cupboards.

Dina has got to be one of my favorite Egyptian designers. Her designs make the perfect statement piece that every lady needs in her closet. You'll find various jewelry collections that fit different styles. My favorite is Objet D'art

Objet D’art which is bohemian inspired and flowery, using bright enamels adorned with chunky semi-precious stones in really nice colors.

Patrie is an authentic collection. Dina expresses her love for Egypt through the use of culture relevant symbols such as the old Egyptian flag, five piaster coins and the eagle of the Egyptian flag.

There's something for everyone; bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings. Prices range from EGP150 to EGP1500, so you can buy these lovely pieces regardless of your budget.

Whether you want to buy yourself something nice or a christmas present for someone, these beautiful pieces should definitely be on top of your list.

Exchange Your Old Clothes for Discounts with H&M

In an attempt to become more environmentally friendly, H&M is launching a new recycling initiative, iCollect, in February 2013. The global recycling initiative will let you exchange old clothes for store discounts.

iCollect offers consumers vouchers in the form of store discounts in exchange for every bag of clothing donated

iCollect boxes will be placed near cash wraps in stores. Shoppers can drop off bags of used clothes and get vouchers in the form of store discounts in exchange for each bag of clothing donated. Any type of garment is accepted. Non-H&M items items are fair game, as are pieces that aren't in good condition.

Time to clean up your closets, ladies!
